Game walk with children

I did a game walk all by myself it was a two hour walk. The guests consisted of three adults and four boys.This was a new experience and i learnt that children need to be stimulated the whole time. and it is not necessary to tell them things the whole time I found that if you ask them questions and so make them feel important then they pay more attention to you and what you are saying.

Slashing how-to

The gentleman that services the Sondela weed-eaters came and gave us a course in how to use the weed-eaters that we use to slash.
I learnt

• how to check the air filter
• how to adjust the harness
• that the blade cover is for protection against shooting stones, wires and bigger pieces of weeds.
• how to make the nylon string that we use to cut longer
• why i must have a nylon cutter on the cover when cutting with the string
• what type of petrol or mix i must use for the machine
• that we must be 15m apart when using the machines
• how to change the blade
• how to change the nylon head
• how important it is to do the daily service and how to do it
• that i must keep the machine on full throttle when cutting to avoid unnecessary damage to the machine
